Please note: I am new to Meshtastic and in the rabbit hole trying to figure it out. I have learned much, but the more I learn, the more I don’t know.
I currently have three nodes. All of them are Lillygo T-Echos. All three have the short name NWZ, the last three letters of my radio callsign.
- NWZ1 / K5NWZ.com Basecamp is a fixed location, monitored client node in my ham shack in Central Loveland, Colorado. When goofing off in the wilderness, it is hoisted as high up as I can get it and used as the Basecamp Node
- NWZ2 / K5NWZ.com Solar Node is always powered and has GPS. It is a client and is monitored.
- NWZ / K5NWZ.com Portable is one I take with me sometimes, and it is GPS-enabled and monitored
